Welcome to ShareHearth (the “Service”): a free, community-driven platform whose sole purpose is to help people help one another and to spread kindness in the world. The Service is offered at no charge and generates no profit for its operators; it is provided as a public good. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least the minimum age required there, e.g. 13 or 16). By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is truthful.
ShareHearth lets people request help, offer help, confirm help received, and earn symbolic recognition points for genuine acts of kindness.
ShareHearth only provides a platform. We do not introduce, employ, supervise, vet, or endorse users, and we are not a party to any agreement, meeting, transaction, or act of help arranged through the Service. You alone are responsible for your interactions with other people, online and offline. Use common sense, meet in safe public places, and never share sensitive personal or financial information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risk arising from your interactions with other users and release the operators of ShareHearth from any and all claims, demands, and damages arising out of or connected with such interactions.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without notice. You can report any user or content in-app and block any user.
You keep ownership of the content you post. You are solely responsible for it, and you confirm you have the right to share it. You grant ShareHearth a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display your content solely to operate the Service. You can delete your content and account at any time; see the Privacy Policy and account deletion page.
Points are a symbolic recognition of helpfulness. They cannot be purchased, sold, traded, transferred, or cashed out; they are not currency, credit, tokens, or any financial instrument, and are not a promise of any good, service, or payment. They are calculated solely by our backend and may be adjusted or revoked if abuse or fraud is detected.
Sign-in and some infrastructure are provided by third parties (e.g. Google / Firebase). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any information or reputation score is accurate or reliable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of ShareHearth, and anyone acting on their behalf, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, personal injury, or property damage, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the service, any conduct or content of any user or third party, or any interaction between users — whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because the service is provided free of charge, to the maximum extent permitted by law the total aggregate liability of the operators for all claims relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use the service (which is zero) or USD 100.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operators of ShareHearth from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Service, your content, your interactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without cause, to protect the community or comply with the law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the competent courts of Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction — unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full force.
